A gentle, fun-filled, eleven week introduction to sports life starting on June 5th and ending on August 21st with our summer jamboree. Rookie Camp is all about exploration, play, and building confidence—featuring a sampler of basketball, softball, and flag football, along with team-building games and creative downtime.

Some things to expect your child’s first week

Campers learn the basics of , basketball, flag football, and softball in fun, age-appropriate sessions led by patient, experienced coaches—ensuring every child gets attention, encouragement, and a chance to shine.

Stay connected and at ease while your child is having an experience of a lifetime—our team shares secure, weekly photo updates and mid-week notes so you can follow their experiences and smile as they grow.
First-time camper welcome activities
From silly icebreakers to team bonding games, we kick off the each session with playful, low-pressure activities that help our young ladies feel comfortable, included, and excited for the Saturdays ahead.

Each session includes quiet moments for reflection, recharging, and emotional check-ins with staff—supporting kids’ well-being while helping them prepare for more fun.

A typical day includes warm-up games, skill-building drills, sport-specific training, team challenges, and fun group activities. There are also scheduled breaks for snacks, lunch, and rest. Each day balances structure with plenty of active play.

Campers should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, lunch (unless provided), athletic shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and any necessary medications. We’ll provide any sport-specific equipment unless otherwise noted.

Medical forms can be submitted via our online registration portal or emailed directly to [camp email address]. All forms must be submitted before the first day of camp.

Our staff is certified in CPR and first aid, and we maintain a low camper-to-coach ratio for close supervision. We also follow safety protocols for heat, hydration, and equipment use. Allergies and medical needs are documented and closely monitored.

We have indoor facilities and alternate activities planned in case of rain or extreme heat. We’ll communicate any schedule changes via email or text to parents as early as possible.
